Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Manager for its Fort Lauderdale, Florida location.
Duties: Continuously monitor risk and performance of the Private Bank credit portfolio by tracking collateral positions, transactions and market evolution within LATAM region. Provide support to Senior Risk Management for top credit clients, including existing and new transactions. Prepare reports on specific portfolio management-oriented initiatives including portfolio reviews, stress testing, classified credit monitoring and any other relevant activity to determine the credit risk. Escalate credit concerns and updates to Senior Risk and business managers and proposing risk mitigation action to be taken. Provide support to on the effective challenge of business controls. Maintain and enhance Risk Management self-assessment tool, by performing a throughout review of processes, risks, controls and monitoring methodologies. Review and challenge Residential Real Estate application, monthly and quarterly portfolio reports (Latin America Metrics, Residential Real Estate metrics, Brazil and Latin North/Latin South Metrics, Quantifiable Metrics), Data Quality reports for Risk Ratings, Manage and monitor cross border limits for the region. Lead the assigned Private Bank Risk initiatives and oversights: Quarterly High-Risk Reviews for Latin America; Quantifiable Portfolio Metrics for Structure Lending including Unsecured and Tailored products; Business Issue Management forum; Management Control Self-Assessment; Annual Risk Assessment for Risk LATAM Unit; and Capacity Plan. Lead meeting with team to review results, review status of identified opportunities and document discussion. Provide guidance on procedures, policies and make recommendations where appropriate. Participate in ad-hoc Risk projects. Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal and external constituencies. Utilize knowledge of Global Collateral Management Policy, Latin America economic variables, and its impact on the valuation of collateral and collateral controls. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Credit Portfolio Manager, Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst, or related position involving credit portfolio and collateral management in banking domain within Brazil. 3 years of experience must include: Credit Risk Management; Collateral Management and monitoring; Credit Risk and Collateral systems architecture, data retrieval processes, exceptions; Risk policies, stress testing; Collateral policies related to control, monitoring of securities and physical assets; Country Risk analysis including political and regional economic environment; IT project management in technology and risk implementation and monitoring; Development and optimization of credit and collateral analytical reports; Data quality issue analysis: identification, reporting, management; and MS PowerPoint and Excel (including Datasets Management with functions, Pivot Tables and reporting). At least 1 year of experience must include: Credit Analysis; Private Bank and Wealth Management credit market experience, including structured wholesale lending products.
