Prime Turbines (PTB) is a division of Precision Aviation Group (PAG), a leader in the MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) industry for general aviation aircraft. PTB, has over three decades as a leading independent turboprop engine maintenance, repair and overhaul company specializing in the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A & PT6T, located in Carrollton, Texas.

The Prime Turbines Materials team is currently seeking a motivated, experienced Materials Coordinator/Processor to assist with material procurement and processing

Essential Functions include:

Aviation/automotive materials procurement and processing of outside vendor repair services
Control inventory levels to fulfill current requirements and to forecast for future requirements
Recognize disruptions in the supply chain and seek alternative options where possible
Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more assembly areas
Responsible for the continuous management of parts requiring repair from the production floor WO's, issuing them to various vendors, managing the vendors processing of the parts, their timely return and issuance to WO's as required
Maintain and build vendor relationships; collaborate with vendors and parts coordinators on incoming materials and requests
Maintain and review records of inventories, deliveries, costs and items purchased
Investigate and resolve issues with problematic inventory transactions or discrepancies
Document and participate in process improvements

Ideal candidates will offer:

At least 2 years related experience in the Aviation Industry
Familiarity of MRO supply chain and inventory management systems
Excellent organizational, planning and leadership skills
Experienced in forecasting and managing inventory
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong initiative, work ethic and ownership
Strong ability to effectively prioritize tasks, attention to detail
Proven Team player with great attitude
Ability to learn new systems quickly and work in a fast paced environment
Ability to grow and take in supervisory responsibilities
