Overview:

This position is a hybrid work schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote in our Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX office

Responsibilities:


  • Works closely with underwriters in handling policy requests and renewals.
  • Follows underwriting guidelines, state regulation, and general procedures while handling assigned renewal policies.
  • Maintains ownership of tasks assigned and provides acceptable service standards when processing and assigning tasks.
  • Provides agency support by answering general questions, providing endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, etc. or directs to correct contact.
  • Assists with a variety of administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in an administrative, underwriting, or assistant role within Property/Casualty industry is preferred but not required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to handle task to completion with limited direction
  • Proven team player and energetic personality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet productivity deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Property, General Liability, Auto, Excess, or Workers' compensation experience desired
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with a desire to learn
