Description

Meerkat Pest Control is currently hiring lead carpenters, apprentices and laborers

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Perform basic carpentry repairs including fascia/soffit, termite structural damage
Bending metal with a brake and installing our Metal X Pest Proofing System
Replacing/repairing ridge vents & louver vents as needed
Repairing entry points, excluding wildlife from reentering structures
Trapping/Evicting nuisance wild animals from residential and commercial structures
Working with foreman, office and estimators to perform job to customer/company specification and set up a safe work environment.

SKILLS NEEDED:

Have a great attitude and have great customer service skills

Have great punctuality, you need show up for work on time, daily.

Must be able to work with heights approximately 15-30 feet on a ladder and be comfortable working on a boom lift.

Must be able to set-up an OSHA approved safe work environment on the roof, training provided

Must be able to bend metal with a brake, training provided.

Must have good knowledge of basic carpentry and basic light masonry
