The international accelerator center FAIR, Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research, is being built at GSI, one of the largest research projects in the world. Construction began in 2017. The construction site is located east of the existing GSI facility, whose existing accelerators will be used as the first stage of acceleration in the future.

Your tasks
- General support of internal logistics in coordination with the HSE manager (SiGeKo)
- Coordination of all trades, such as building services, pipeline and scaffolding construction, and available resources within the accelerator facility
- Planning and enforcing space and warehouse management with subcontractors
- Optimizing and adapting the existing logistics concept in coordination with external construction logistics
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting deviations of subcontractors regarding agreements/specifications and deadlines
Your qualifications
- A degree in engineering or further education as a technician/master
- Relevant experience in construction site logistics in large-scale plant construction, as well as a good technical understanding
- Knowledge of Lean Construction
