We want to add a full-time Member service Representative to our NESC Lawrence branch team. The duties are as follows;


Duties:

• Interview loan applicants; gather background information on loan applicants and analyze applicant's credit history. Complete loan documents and disburse funds when loan is approved.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Process Debit cards, ATM and virtual banking requests. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary information for membership.
• Provide account services to members by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; selling cashier's checks; answering questions in person or on the telephone; referring to other bank services.
• Crosssell credit union products by answering inquiries; inform members of new services and product promotions; ascertain members' needs and offer appropriate products.
• Reconcile cash drawer daily; reconcile loan coupons and other transactions; maintaining supply of cash and currency.
• Maintain member confidence and protect credit union operations by keeping information confidential and presenting a professional demeanor at all times.

Skills/Qualifications:

Prior customer service experience, detail oriented, general math ability, effective verbal communication skills, along with a high degree of integrity and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bilingual skills a plus (Spanish/English)

The schedule available is full-time and will include Saturday mornings (8:15AM-12:30PM)
