    Description
    Our Client, is an investment management firm with a multistrategy hedge fund offering, is seeking an Product Manager – Equities Risk Technology

    Location: New York, NY
    Position Type: IT Full Time

    Job Summary:

    As the Equities Pricing & Risk Technology Product Manager, you will be responsible for providing Risk Managers, Business Heads and 150+ trading pods with capabilities to manage intra-day and overnight risk and P&L of positions across all asset classes. Detailed analysis of challenging business problems and transparent, efficient project management across a complex technical eco-system are vital to successful execution of the global book of work.

    What You Will Be Doing:
    • Work with traders and risk to define scope, synthesize requirements, define approach and prioritize key projects aligned to our proprietary risk management platform.
    • Analyze upstream/downstream data dependencies and create BRD/FRD, JIRA tickets and projects plans.
    • Manage day to day project deliverables; highlight, escalate and resolve issues, conflicts and roadblocks.

    Skills That We Are Looking For:
    • Subject matter expertise in Equities and Equities Derivatives (familiarity with risk sensitivities), working knowledge of other asset classes.
    • Knowledge of trade lifecycle, market risk methodologies and front to back-office flows.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent written documentation skills.
    • Hands on BA/PM experiences working on proprietary risk management systems and working closely with traders and business heads.
    • Experience working with trading to identify pain points and collaboratively design solutions to remediate.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a BA/PM role in Financial Services, preferably focused in the risk space.
    • Experience working in scrum environment, working knowledge of JIRA.
    • Development background or CFA certification a plus.
    Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000
