Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our Construction Team.

The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conducting investigations, and implementing safety programs to promote a safe work environment.

The Specialist will also be responsible for our truck fleet and assist with Certified Payroll.


Duties:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes
• Work with trainers to provide safety training to employees on topics such as first aid, CPR, and emergency response
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training, and incidents
• Complete Certified Payroll Reports
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns
• Maintain truck fleet information. Including registrations, insurance, & collecting daily maintenance reports

Requirements:

• Knowledge of occupational health standards and regulations
• Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and procedures
• Experience in workers' compensation claims management
• Proficiency in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) practices
• Strong report writing skills for documenting safety procedures and incidents
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis for accidents or near misses
• Works well independently and with the team with great organizational skills

This position requires the ability to fabricate solutions to enhance workplace safety.

Pay:
$52, $62,400.00 per year
