Director of NursingDuties:
- Develop and implement wellness programs for residents in accordance with Medicare guidelines
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of wellness services, including fitness classes, health screenings, and educational workshops
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of residents
- Conduct assessments to identify individual wellness needs and create personalized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and make necessary adjustments
- Provide guidance and support to staff members involved in delivering wellness services
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress in wellness programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Nursing)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and resident rights
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
