Job Description

The eCW Specialist is responsible for managing the eCW EMR system used by physician practices. Their duties involve evaluating new practices, maintaining EMRs in compliance with corporate policies, training physicians and staff, developing training materials, analyzing EMR performance, staying up-to-date with system features, ensuring data entry compliance, implementing Meaningful Use guidelines, and optimizing workflows in collaboration with physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, configure, and maintain the EMR system
Support EngageMED clients through process implementations
Train users on efficient documentation practices
Ensure EHR policies and technologies adhere to regulations
Recommend best practices based on industry standards
Coordinate IT education for EHR upgrades
Develop and execute a strategic training plan

Primary Duties:

Act as a subject matter expert in EHR software
Provide on-site support during implementation and post-implementation
Analyze physician office workflows
Suggest improvements in office operations
Optimize EHR application and workflows
Configure EHR software to support office requirements
Deliver customized training programs
Offer help desk support to end users
Participate in updates, upgrades, and projects as needed
Demonstrate integrity and uphold company standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years' experience with EMR / EHR systems
Background in healthcare application support/analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Office & Outlook
Experience in system testing and workflow analysis
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent teaching abilities for EHR documentation training
