Overview:

The Customer Service Representative must have the ability to troubleshoot and become first point of contact for AIT's customers seeking help with timely delivery.

Establishing new relationships, managing and maintaining existing customer's accounts and assessing customer's needs translating into results oriented solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage new and existing customer accounts to assure accurate and timely delivery
  • Serve as a liaison between the sales manager and customers to enhance service experience
  • Promote additional services to contribute to overall profit
  • Interact with various Representatives to set up quotes, routes and rates for international and domestic freight shipments
  • Review the process and take immediate action to correct or solve issues that may occur
  • Provide feedback on enhancing current procedures that will increase efficiency reduce errors and better serve our customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with AIT's customers and vendors on a first name basis
  • The wage range for this position is $ $28.27 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in logistics and transportation, preferred
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detailoriented and able to time manage
  • Ability to adapt and enjoy working in a high pressure and high pace environment
  • Works well individually and team setting
