- Monitors all front-of-the-house employees, resolving any customer and employee issues
- Lead by example for the rest of the staff and communicate with the Restaurant Manager of any important issues or information.
- Ensure that the restaurant is ready for service at the beginning of every shift
- Ensure all employees are in uniform and ready to work before clocking in
- Work with shift leads to ensure all employees take their breaks throughout the shift
- Monitor and approve all voids and discounts
- Assist the manager with any work outside of regular business hours, including but not excluding scheduling, deposits, inventory, payroll.
- Knowledge of the restaurant's food and drink offerings, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Team Player + Positive Attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills required
- 2 years of restaurant experience, including progressive supervisory experience
- Service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Able to acquire a California Food Handler's & Responsible Beverage Service Certification (before or within 1 month of hiring)
- Bilingual
