The Materials Analyst Footwear role will provide support to the HQ based Footwear end to end functions of Materials Research and Development, Materials Sourcing and Materials Planning in the areas of Operational evolution, Process and Data excellence, helping drive Growth, Service and Efficiency through Materials Tools and Analytics.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCENew Seasonal Materials Tracking, Adoption and KPIs for the Columbia Footwear BrandMaterials Toolkit maintenance and analyticsMaterials Sourcing Landscape maintenance and data analysisGain an understanding of the Footwear Product Creation Processes.
timeline and Manufacturing LandscapeGain an understanding of how Materials Creation, Sourcing and Planning support On Time Delivery of Compelling Product to the ConsumerPerforms other duties as assignedYOU AREUnderstand the main Materials types critical to Footwear and Suppliers with the capabilities and capacity to supply those to CSCReporting to Footwear Materials Sourcing, this role will act as a support to the Footwear Materials Team, in running the business as well as driving critical Supply Chain Goals for which Materials are at the center.
Skilled in bringing compelling stories to life through data analysisA keen interest in process improvement, calendar timelines/critical path.Ability to work cross functionally to deliver timely resultsYOU HAVEIdeally Bachelors in Textile Science or related Science Subject or Materials/Product DesignAdvanced analytical skills in Excel.
