Job Summary:


Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and/or Clinical Staff Pharmacist the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) performs tasks in the Pharmacy Department necessary for optimum patient care and pharmaceutical service.

The CPhT must be a registered, certified pharmacy technician with the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy and maintain this registration and certification.

The CPhT under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager and/or Clinical Staff Pharmacist performs all duties of the Registered Pharmacy Technician.

In addition, the CPhT, under the supervision of the Pharmacist, participates in IV Sterile Compounding.
