Position Title: Key Account Manager
Location: Waukesha, WI
Reporting to: Regional Service Sales Manager
Open to Relocation: No

Travel Required: 75%
Sales include hydraulic and electrical repairs to construction and industrial equipment including Terex and identified other brands. This role will develop service sales objectives, manage performance, and develop marketing programs. This position will be responsible for the delivery of annual revenue targets in the assigned territory in conjunction with Terex Services branch management.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Establish and maintain customer base for services offered through the Terex Service locations within territory assigned Develop plans to ensure continued revenue growth in assigned area or territory Establish sales forecasts and secure orders according to goal Conduct research of local market and business activity. Identify potential new customers and markets Ensure that customers understand the Terex Services value proposition. Educate customers on service products, warranties, and technical support Provide accurate information to customers regarding service and product specifications, price, availability, and terms and conditions Coordinate sales efforts with other departments to meet customers' needs. Manage territory based on plan for the year. Visit customers on a regular basis as determined by the plan Work with local, regional and some national accounts Manage service quotes and strive to improve company margins Control expenses per budget Assist customers with business planning and development of forecasts for Services Elicit feedback from customers on existing service products as well as changes, enhancements, and new offerings that customers would like Conveys information to Terex team members as appropriate Preside at trade shows, coordinating business development and educational activities with customers and contacts Must have a basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and incorporate the principles in dealings with customers and team members Meet or exceed the training requirements for selfdevelopment during the year Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position Required Qualifications:
  • Highest level of integrity.
High School Diploma or GED Ability to travel 3 out of 4 weeks each monthPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 4+ years of experience in a sales role Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Engineering Needs to be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report as driving is part of the position Oracle CX experience Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, prepare and deliver formal presentations, and negotiate sales Advanced written communication skills to prepare proposals and business correspondence Welldeveloped problemsolving skills to develop sales strategies Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Strong time management skills Proficiency with Terex and Genie products (Utility and/or AWP products) Demonstrate proper techniques of prospecting, telemarketing, closing techniques, and quotation and specification writing Ability to drive the territory during normal work hours Occasional extended overnight trips will be necessary Needs to be comfortable operating all types of construction and industrial equipment Salary: The compensation range for this position is $95135k annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
