Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team.

Reporting to the company's Controller, this role will encompass a diverse range of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

The AP Specialist will play a vital role in supporting company operations through meticulous data entry, while fostering positive relationships with clients, vendors, and international teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage AP inbox daily with precision and attention to detail.

  • Create and process purchase orders, vendor billings, and vendor statement reconciliations in accordance with company protocols.
  • Review and document credit card transactions with proper backup.

Qualifications:

Authorized to work in the US.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant AP or accounting experience required.
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of data with precision and accuracy.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive and selfsufficient, with conflict resolution skills and a respectful demeanor.

Conditions & Physical Demands:

This position is primarily based in a clerical office setting and involves predominantly sedentary work.

Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing cabinets will be utilized, with occasional lifting of files or computer equipment, bending, walking, and other minor physical tasks.

Normal vision and hearing abilities are required to read screens, documents, and operate equipment effectively. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
