We are seeking a dedicated and personable Human Resource leader to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Position Summary:
This position would primarily be a remote position working from home, but would require occasional visits to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of HR functions including onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies, handbooks and procedures tailored to the needs of our nonprofit organization.
- Ensure compliance with state laws and regulations related to employment, safety, and labor practices.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HRrelated matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in HR roles, with specific experience in nonprofit organizations.
- Strong understanding of state employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
