- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental xrays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Take impressions for dental restorations
- Perform dental charting and recordkeeping
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
- Proficiency in medical imaging software for capturing and analyzing dental xrays
- Familiarity with computeraided design (CAD) software for creating dental prosthetics
- Experience in assisting with various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and cleanings
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic, for managing patient information
- Ability to take accurate vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
- Knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims submission
- Strong understanding of human anatomy as it relates to dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
Expected hours: 35 per week

Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Prepare dental materials and instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental Xrays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Skills:
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
- Ability to perform patient assessments
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for dental purposes
- Strong skills in medical documentation and recordkeeping
- Competency in X-Ray procedures and medical imaging techniques
Pay:
$ $22.71 per hour
