Description

  • Performs the full range of professional duties required to assess and evaluate the current and emerging technologies; develops information technology hardware and software configuration standards and provides technical consulting services.

Qualifications

Required:


  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in technology evaluation and assessment, one (1) year of which shall have included documenting recommendations.
  • Knowledge of common computer software, local and widearea networking, and telecommunications technologies and their operating systems.
  • Ability to evaluate such technologies and make sound recommendations to management.
  • Ability to assess technology needs of organizational users with varying requirements, prepare user profiles, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Salary Range
- $81,300 - $138,347
