Description

Primary Purpose:

We are seeking trimmers that have knowledge in plastic manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to work with hand tools
Trim excess material or cut threads off finished products, such as cutting loose ends of plastic off a manufactured part for a smoother finish.
Read work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations, and quantities to cut.
Trim the part to shape and form to the size following the model and utilizing a power saw or power grinder.
Mark or discard items with defects such as snags, chips, scratches, or unacceptable shapes or finishes.
Read work orders or examine parts to determine which parts or sections of products are required to be trimmed.
Remove or trim excess material from products, using knives, scrapers or band saws.
All other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Solid background in plastic manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

- 2+ years' experience recommended
:

Knowledge of manufacturing operation and quality processes preferred.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to work safely, efficiently, and effectively at a rapid pace.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
Ability to work with hand tools

Ability to maintain a clean work area.
Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Monitor safety and quality

Will be working in a factory setting.

Note:
The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

SOME SATURDAYS REQUIRED

Pay:
$15.50 per hour
