Description

The Sales Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving their targets and ensuring the efficient operation of the sales department.

This role is essential to all sales activities and communications between Impelix prospects, current customers, and vendors, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes.

The Sales Operations Coordinator will also foster long-lasting client relationships and increase customer satisfaction by providing exemplary customer service to promote growth, retention, and loyalty.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Order Processing:


  • Assist sales processes from lead generation to order fulfillment.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Resolve orderrelated issues and discrepancies.
  • Provide feedback and assist with streamlining administrative workflows to enhance efficiency.

Customer Support:


  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, including customer service and support.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and order status updates.
  • Address customer issues and concerns in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide feedback on how to improve customer experience and productivity.

Documentation and Record Keeping:


  • Prepare sales quotes, contracts, and proposals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate sales transactions, contracts, and customer information records.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and company policies.
  • Contribute to the sales operations playbook with templates and other training tools.

Contract Management:


  • Monitor contract renewals and amendments.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:


  • Fostering and sustaining relationships with the vendors and manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all vendor products.
  • Negotiating vendor pricing and contracts as needed.

Sales Reporting:


  • Assist in sales administrative duties with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as Salesforce and ConnectWise
  • Generate regular sales reports and analyses to track performance against targets, identify trends, and provide insights for decisionmaking.
  • Assist in forecasting by providing sales data and insights to support planning efforts.

Required Skills/Expertise:


  • Proven experience in sales, sales support, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Displays excellent troubleshooting and creative problemsolving skills.
  • The agility to manage several tasks at the same time.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, ConnectWise, and Microsoft Office products

Relevant Experience/Education:


  • Customer Services
  • Sales Operations
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred
