SUMMARY
Law Firm is looking for a Part-Time Receptionist/File Clerk Hours/Week) in office to support the office with the day-to-day workload and other clerical tasks. We are looking for someone with great work ethics and who will be a dedicated and professional employee.

This person needs to be a team player and have an "I want to help" attitude when it comes to our team and clients.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities


Required Experience/Skills:

Previous law office experience preferred.
Must be very well organized and able to multi-task.
Computer skills including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attitude, personable and ability to interact with clients.
Must be punctual, this is very important. If you have an attendance/tardy issue, do not apply.


Duties include:


  • Answers/routes phone calls, takes accurate messages and greets visitors pleasantly.
  • Prepare any mail/payments to be sent out.
  • Scheduling appointments, including flight reservations, hotel stays, and other appointments as needed for Managing Attorney.
  • Assisting with Management with client cases
  • Assisting with collection of rent for the building.
  • Distributes incoming mail.
  • Performs shipping and receiving duties.
  • Organizes meetings and conference calls, to include making room arrangements, scheduling and coordinating beverage/food service.
  • Provides administrative support to management
  • Keeps the front office, conference rooms, file room, copy/mail area, and kitchen in good order.
  • Coordinates facilities maintenance activities with a variety of vendors, to include lawn care, housekeeping, and trash.
  • Orders and maintains supplies.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, and QuickBooks to maintain building.
  • Performs routine office duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and scanning.
  • Provides effective and efficient internal and external customer service
  • Any other related duties as may be required by supervisor

Compensation range is between $12-$13 an hour depending on experience. Health Insurance is not offered.
