About ARDEM Incorporated:

ARDEM provides Document Management, Data Management, and Document Conversion services to commercial and government clients. We provide customer-specific solutions for large volume data processing in market research, financial services, health, and retail sectors.


Scope of work:
Preparing documents for scanning and digitizing using high speed and flatbed scanning equipment. Documents include photographs, paper, slides and film negatives.

Other office administrative tasks will include, filing paperwork, ensure supplies are fulfilled, mail receipt, accounts payable support (printing and mailing payments, scanning and submitting vendor documents, etc)


Abilities required:
Accuracy and Speed. Consistent and reliable work hours. Work independently and quietly, Reliable Transportation. We are a small company and rely on eager motivated individuals to fulfill their responsibilities.


Knowledge of Windows Office software is helpful, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring that all scans produced from scanning department have been QC checked prior to uploading to the production department
  • Ensure that all folders scanned have been uploaded to production with appropriate log sheets
  • Ensure all Output data file transmission has been logged into the customer log sheets
  • Prepare documents to be scanned by removing staples, paper clips and remove any binding objects as well as straightening folded corners, repairing torn edges, have the ability to sort and identify various document types, and affixing postit notes or small pieces of paper to larger blank paper all done as accurately and efficiently as possible.
  • Learning to run production high speed scanners and scanning software.
  • Potentially performing specialized scanning: Handle historic documents in preparation for digitization. Learn to run over a head scanner and scanning software. Reassemble post digitization.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department related to incoming bills and outgoing payments
  • Coordinate with HR regarding insurance policies and employee documentation
  • Be willing to work independently, in a quiet work environment
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to/from work

Education:

BA or 4-year equivalent college education 0-3 years' experience.

Associates degree with scanning experience 2-5 years' experience.


Skills needed:


  • Accuracy and Speed.
  • Attention to detail in dealing with very high volume of transactions
  • Organized Work Habits.
  • Should be able to pass a detailed background screening for security: Samples of issues that could prevent clearance acceptance: prosecutions, convictions, bankruptcy, possession of illegal substances, DUI etc.
  • Will enjoy working with data, reading images, checking data output files
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/ projects at the same time.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Office Location:
Hillsborough N.J.

Scheduled work hours Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (hours may change as training matures)
