- High School Graduate or G.E.D
- Completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship preferable
- 3 years of experience minimum as a MANUAL machinist (not CNC)
- Proven experience as machinist (working manual lathes both vertical & horizontal, mills etc.)
- Ability to use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to take accurate measurements
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Able to perform basic math with analytical abilities
- Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally
- Able to carry out a series of work instructions without constant supervision
- Perform physical activity that includes heavy lifting
- Experience with Industrial pump repair
- Forklift Experience

Job DescriptionMobile Staff Solutions is hiring for 2 Manual Machinists in Lakeland, FL area. Our client is looking for someone who has experience with MANUAL lathe & mills. This position performs the machining requirements of the shop as well as having both assembly/disassembly responsibility on larger repairs and projects. This position also includes willingly supporting other employees in areas such as fabrication, welding, repair, and field service. Pay depends on experience, ranges $22 to $35 an hour

MUST HAVES / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
