Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Three to five years' experience in public or private housing, community development, public administration, nonprofit administration, or a related field that demonstrates strong management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of housing management, finances, and maintenance systems in public or private housing is desired.
  • Knowledge of PHA Net, CHAMP, Section 8 a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, willingness to work with people of various socioeconomic backgrounds. Willingness and interest in working with tenant on a personal level.
  • Provide visionary leadership to all staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee daytoday operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas. Lead business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities for growth and partnerships
  • Manage financial resources and budgets effectively, ensuring the organization's financial health
  • Collaborate with the board of directors to set goals, policies, and strategies for the organization
  • Represent the organization in external relations, including negotiations with stakeholders and partners

Qualifications:

  • While not required for hiring, certification as a property manager or similar classification by a nationally recognized housing or real estate organization. Certification as a MPHA of a DHCDapproved Massachusetts Public Housing Administrator Certification Program which must be obtained withing the first year of employment.   • Bachelors Degree in Social Services
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a track record of successful strategic planning and project management
  • Strong negotiation skills and business development acumen
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and mentorship
  • Proficiency in operations management and process improvement techniques

Pay:
$50, $70,000.00 per year
