    LCS is hiring for a Senior Tax Analyst

    For the right person, there is an opportunity to elevate this role to a Tax Manager. The Senior Tax Analyst will assist in all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and analysis for LCS Holdings, Inc., Life Care Companies LLC, and approximately 200 subsidiary entities and partnerships controlled by LCS. Duties include assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax schedules, review of draft tax returns, delivery of K-1s to shareholders and investors, and proactively engaging in tax research and analysis for issues affecting LCS and subsidiaries.

    The Role:
    • Assist in the review, coordination, and preparation of supporting schedules for partnership and corporate tax returns - including detailed review of fixed asset ledgers and depreciation lives/methods
    • Assist in the preparation of tax computations and schedules
    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax estimates
    • Responsible for making tax payments and following up on notices and correspondence from Federal and State taxing authorities
    • Assist with tax planning issues and research on tax issues (work with outside tax counsel as needed)
    • Assist with sales, use and excise tax filing, planning, and education
    • Assist in analysis of tax consequences of acquisition and divestitures
    • Leads special projects and process improvements that require collaboration with external parties and internal partners
    Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field of study
    • CPA or desire to obtain certification required - LCS will assist in obtaining certification
    • 2-4 years of related tax preparation experience in the Tax Department of a public accounting firm or private company preferred
    • Experience in preparing partnership tax returns
    • Proficient in MS Excel and Word
    Knowledge & Skills:
    • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
    • Analytical capability with proven ability to connect business opportunities to financial/tax implications
    • Strong technology skills required, including advanced skills with Excel
    • Independent thinker who takes initiative
    • Investigative and able to identify potential issues and risks
    • Demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment
    • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute work activities with numerous deadlines
    • Organized, and able to multi-task and meet deadlines
    • Detail oriented and has a high regard for quality

    Job Level: B

    Estimated Salary Range: $68,000 - $76,000

    The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
