Rainbow Tree Company, a values-driven organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position based out of our Minnetonka, Minnesota office and offers the ability for a hybrid work schedule.

Accountabilities:

Own and manage assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close cycle.
Lead the building of the next level expense reporting process and solution for Rainbow that will deliver timely and accurate expense reporting across Business Units and departments.
Leverage high level data intelligence capabilities and creativity to bring ongoing improvements in how key management information is surfaced and communicated.
Own and manage aspects of the annual audit and tax process.
Be a leader, be coachable and a coach, and engage with business partners and teams to produce breakthrough results.
Crosstrain across financial team roles as backup.

Qualifications:

S. or equivalent with a major in accounting or related discipline.
High-level skill and experience with MS Excel (Pivot, Lookup, and other data manipulation).
Superior math and analytical skills.
2+ years of industry or public accounting experience.
Ability to speak in public and communicate to groups, individuals, and various levels of the Company.

Preferred Qualifications:

Acumatica or other G/L accounting software.
Concur administration experience.
VENA reporting tool or similar financial reporting platform.
