    Qualifications


    Basic Qualifications & Experience

    • Registered Nurse License in good standing in the state of Colorado.
    • Advanced education and/or training preferred.
    • 3 years of experience in a Long Term Care Community.
    • 3 years of experience in Long Term Care Nursing management; Director of Nursing experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of skilled nursing community operations, state and federal laws and regulations preferred.
    • Proficient in computer word processing and database management.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
    • Excellent customer service skills are a must

    Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

    • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
    • Possible exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and other communicable diseases.
    • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and moving during working hours.
    • Subject to frequent interruptions.
    • Regular interaction with residents, family members, and visitors.
