To complement our team at the Harthausen Children's House, we are looking for:

Educators, Child Care Workers, or Special Education Teachers (m/f/d)
At our Children's House, we welcome approximately 70 children daily from their first birthday until they start school. Our children are given time, space, and trust to learn primarily through independent, self-initiated play.

Creating a stimulating and prepared learning environment is the main task of our educators, in addition to building relationships with the children.

Our colleagues are encouraged to bring their ideas and skills to the table. We support all team members, including financially, with their individual training and further education plans.


The relatively small groups of about 15 children in kindergarten and a maximum of 12 children in the nursery allow us to provide high-quality educational work.

Our team consists of educators, child care workers, special education and remedial teachers, students, apprentices, and two cooks who lovingly and freshly prepare meals for our children and ourselves every day.

In the traditional yet open village community of Harthausen, our house plays an important role. The parents of our children are engaged, open, and interested. We maintain an intensive and trusting relationship with them.


Your tasks:

  • Building relationships with the children and their parents
  • Supporting the children in their development
  • Designing and developing the rooms and garden

We expect:

  • An appropriate, completed education, degree, or training
