We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Dental Health Center of Northern Virginia.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our dentists during procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients, and contributing to the smooth operation of our practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments
• Take and develop dental xrays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide support to dental hygienists and administrative staff as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a dental assisting program or 12 years relevant experience
• Xray certification preferred
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
