Reyes Blum PLLC is an established immigration law firm located in Southwest Houston, Texas, with a legacy spanning over 40 years helping the immigrant community.

Our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients navigating immigration cases.

We are growing and looking to add a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Receptionist to our team who will help us serve our clients.

Spanish and English speaking abilities are required. Prior immigration experience is preferred but not required, we will train and support the right person for the position.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently, using a multiline phone system
  • Take accurate messages and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Schedule appointments and manage daily calendars
  • Receive and direct faxes to the appropriate person
  • Receive and follow mail procedures
  • Scan and upload documents to database
  • Take consultation payments
  • Assist with administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby
  • Collaborate with management, attorneys, and staff to ensure smooth office operations
  • Maintain client confidentiality

Qualifications:


  • Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is required
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Works well under pressure
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Types at minimum 60 WPM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on professionalism and client service.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Works efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Wants to help others
  • Ability to work Saturdays and overtime (based on business needs)
  • Wellgroomed, punctual, with reliable transportation
