Students of the Sustainable Science and Technology program with a focus on environmental engineering receive fundamental knowledge in areas such as mathematics, technical physics, chemistry, and safety management during the theoretical part of their studies at DHBW Karlsruhe. This is complemented by program-specific content, such as environmental law and environmental measurement techniques.

During the practical phase of their studies, students supplement and deepen the knowledge acquired during the theoretical phase. They gain insight into existing safety risks at KIT for humans and the environment and learn about the technical steps and methods used to address environmental problems and monitor them analytically.
