    Job Description

    Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    Deliver expert nursing care within a dynamic ICU setting, providing comprehensive support to critically ill patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled RN-ICU professional to coordinate and supervise nursing activities, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care and patient safety.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned ICU patients, following established nursing processes and protocols.
    • Supervise and direct nursing staff activities, fostering an environment of teamwork and professional growth.
    • Collect and analyze patient health data to develop and implement effective care plans.
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a healing and safe environment.
    • Provide education and informational support to patients, families, and team members.
    • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
    • Appropriately delegate tasks and coordinate responsibilities within the healthcare team.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned to support patient care excellence.

    Qualifications / Desired Experience:

    • Current RN license with ICU certification or relevant critical care experience.
    • Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
    • Ability to supervise and effectively communicate with nursing staff.
    • Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
    • Commitment to patient safety and quality nursing care.

    Additional Information:This is a contract role with a float pool nursing model that requires nurses to log work hours specific to units served. Compliance with vaccination requirements is mandatory, with possible exemptions. The facility participates in E-Verify for employment eligibility.
