INVISTA is seeking a contribution-motivated Emergency Response Coordinator with a passion for emergency response combined with the drive to leverage their innate abilities.
Our Team
What You Will Do
- Oversee industrial emergency response team (ERT) members which includes unending development of ERT leadership
- Instruct industrial emergency response training which includes fire techniques and tactics, hazmat, rescue, pump truck operations, fire extinguisher use, first aid training and more.
- Maintain functionality and reliability of emergency response and fire protection equipment
- Lead site Intraosseous (IO) training and support site medical staff, as needed
- Implement emergency procedures, fire protection systems, adverse weather planning, emergency response team staffing, training and preparedness, Incident Command / Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
- Assist project teams in planning safety and emergency response into upcoming projects and activities
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Previous emergency response experience within the chemical or refining industry
- Previous experience with and knowledge of OSHA, Texas DSHS and NFPA
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor of Science in fire protection engineering or emergency management
- 10+ plus years of emergency response experience within the chemical or refining industry
- Business continuity and crisis management experience
- Previous supervisory experience leading team of firefighters
- Previous experience leading mutualaid or municipal response organizations
- Certifications as a Licensed Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT or EMT-P), Fire instructor
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041, Live Fire Instructor
- NFPA 1403, or other similar certifications
