General Purpose:
- This position provides assistance to the Company Controller by performing a variety of tasks related to Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Billing, Employee Time, and Management Reports.
- This position provides basic reception duties for incoming customers, vendors, and telephone calls.
Duties and Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk:
- Manages the accurate and timely processing of invoices and enter into A/P & A/R systems
- Reconciles monthly vendor account statements (A/P)
- Resolves various invoice issues and discrepancies as necessary
- Researches and resolves billing problems and corrected invoices
- Reviews and matches invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment
- Initiates collection calls for Non-Responsive A/R
- Performs customer account reconciliations (A/R)
- Assists with monthend closing
- Performs reception duties including, but not limited to, greeting walkin customers; guiding customers to the appropriate department as needed; answering incoming phone calls to the dealership and disseminating calls to appropriate extensions
- Monitoring company fax machine and disseminating documents as necessary
- Act as liaison between employees and administration for the ordering of office supplies
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Education and Experience required of Accounting Clerk:
- 1-3 years of office and general accounting experience
- 1+ years of A/R and A/P experience
- Knowledge of common office administration practices and procedures
- Proficient in mainstream computer software (including, but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint, etc.)
- Must be proficient in MS Excel as evidenced by ability to perform the following:
- Read, create, and organize data in spreadsheets for use during daily operations
- Provide spreadsheets to upperlevel management with a clear explanation of the material being presented
- Understand or ability to learn additional MS Excel features (i.e. Pivot Tables, Queries, etc.)
- Proficient in industryspecific computer software programs known as _SOFTBASE_ &/or _TINNACITY_ preferred, but not required
Knowledge and Skills required of Accounting Clerk:
- Must possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Must possess the ability to be flexible if/when work processes are modified or enhanced due to upgrades, changes, etc.
- Must possess the ability to answer incoming telephone calls and effectively manage disseminating calls as appropriate
- Must possess the ability to interact and communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues in a professional manner on a daily basis
- Must possess the ability to handle frequent interruptions without compromising attention to detail, accuracy, and a positive attitude
- Must possess the ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
- Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of any and all information (including, but not limited to financial & credit information) associated with Frontier Forklifts (employer), customers, vendors, etc.
- Must possess aboveaverage computer skills
- Must possess reliable transportation & a valid Driver License with the ability to arrive at work on time every day
- Must be able to pass the following Pre-Employment screens:

Details of Position:
- In-Office, In-Person
- Fulltime position: Monday
- Friday, 8am 5pm with one 60minute meal break daily
Compensation:
- Pay range: $ $24.00/hour (pay rate dependent upon experience)
- Medical, Dental, Vision and other ancillary benefits (i.e. matching 401k, etc.) available after 60 days of employment
- Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay are offered to all fulltime employees
