We are looking for an Account Supervisor with experience leading team members and client engagements to join our PR and Social Media team.

The Account Supervisor should be both a leader and a doer.

Specifically, you will be the primary point of contact for several PR clients, driving all strategies and tactics, anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering counsel, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence.

Job Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong client relationships and lead client engagements as the day-to-day strategic counselor- Oversee all aspects of integrated communications programs and manage the development and implementation of PR programs to ensure overall client success- Manage teams assigned to clients and ensure programs delivered on time and on budget- Proactively monitor news on behalf of clients and recommend competitive strategies- Write engaging pitches and lead media outreach to digital and traditional media, trade and mainstream- Build and maintain social communities for clients, including monitoring trends and themes for an integrated approach to PR and social media- Conduct comprehensive analysis and report on success metrics- Successfully collaborate with creative and cross-functional staff including account managers, digital campaign managers, graphic designers and videographers- Create well-written and inspiring copy to support PR initiatives as well as broader agency projects- Manage and track hours to client contracts to ensure agency profitability- Play a key role in the agency's new business development from the development and presentation of new business proposals to agency thought leadership and visibility activities


Requirements:


  • BS degree in PR, English, journalism, communications or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working at an agency, consulting firm or in the field of PR
  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make decisions independently
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Flexible and agile, with the ability to quickly change course when the need arises
  • Passionate about building and expanding client relationships
  • Skilled PR leader who can manage all aspects of client campaigns
  • Experienced in media relations including a demonstrated history of success in securing client coverage
  • Strong writer who can develop content for clients in a wide range of industries
  • Demonstrated initiative, solid judgment and creativity
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fastpaced, timeline driven environment

Compensation Range for this position:
$75,000 - $85,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location._
