Description
Teach and develop online graduate courses related to counseling. Participate and collaborate as a team in the ongoing planning, development, implementation, and assessment of the M.A. in Professional Counseling, M.A. in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling, M.Ed. in School Counseling, and Online LPC Bridge programs. Participate fully in college and department activities, including research and service requirements in alignment with institution, college, and department tenure and evaluation criteria. This will be an 11-month appointment. Candidates at the assistant professor level must have an earned doctorate at the time of hire. Candidates at the associate professor level must have an established record of research, teaching, and service to meet the University's requirements for tenure and appointment at the respective rank.Typical Duties/Job Duties
Teaching and Counseling Expertise:
Minimum Qualifications
● Earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP -accredited program;
● Experience with organizing and monitoring field experience;
● Licensure as a professional counselor ( LPC ) with Supervisor designation in the state of Texas;
● Prior higher education teaching experience;
● Experience utilizing Blackboard LMS for online teaching.
