Nitrogen Express is looking for a CDL Class C, B or A Driver to play a key role on our team in the Northern California territory.

This is a day shift driving role starting anywhere from 4:00-6:00 AM and is 8 hours a day. Our company is building a family one delivery at a time. Starting Rate:
$30-32 / hour

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid class A B or C commercial driver's license
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred (can help obtain when hired)
• Offering apprenticeship program to help train those without endorsements
• Preferred 6 months of recent commercial driving experience (e.g., box trucks, automatic trucks, flatbeds, school buses, water delivery trucks, etc.)
• Must be able to pass DOT physical, background check, and preemployment drug screen as a condition of employment
• Comfortable working with technology and tech devices (iPad, smartphone, etc.)
• Ability to write, communicate, and read English as well as perform basic mathematical calculations
• 1 year verifiable driving experience required
• Must be able to push 700+ pound cylinder tank on wheels and refill nitrogen gasses
• Prior distribution/delivery experience a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team
• Possess a "cando" attitude and takes initiative
• Ability to be oncall for additional shifts as needed

Driver Responsibilities

• Must be able to handle freight/cylinders
• Operates a Dodge Ram 5500 with enclosed box in a safe and

- responsible manner

• Fills liquid nitrogen cylinders at customers' facilities
• Completes DVIR and appropriate logs daily
• Complies with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicates safety and customer issues daily with supervisor
• Maintains professional relationship with all customers
• Performs additional duties and assignments as required

As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering liquid nitrogen on scheduled routes with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Training will be provided during your initial 30 days at our headquarters in Southern California. After training you will be servicing routes in the Northern California area.
