- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to comprehend data needs.
- Develop detailed design documents, including mapping specifications.
- Construct scalable and dependable data pipelines for supporting data ingestion (batch and/or streaming) and transformation from diverse data sources utilizing SQL, AWS, Snowflake, and data integration technologies.
- Generate unit/integration tests and establish automated build and deployment processes.
- Engage in code evaluations to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- Deploy, monitor, and uphold production systems.
- Craft and enhance user stories in the backlog.
- Work closely with product owners, analysts, architects, QA team, and other colleagues.
- 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- BS Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in ETL development using DBT.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience working with SQL and Snowflake databases.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience (not solely training or POC) utilizing Git and Python.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication abilities.

- Practical involvement in ELT development using Matillion.
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, Build and Release CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with AWS and Control M.
- Experience in coding intricate transformations (beyond just extract/load mappings) in DBT.
