    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    The Data Center Facilities (Analyst) will provide end users, architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors, comprehensive technical support over daily datacenter operations. Will be responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Datacenter. This equipment supports mission-critical servers and must maintain better than 99.95% uptime. The Data Center Facilities (Analyst) will continue to maintain high reliability and performance while keeping operating costs in facilities at a minimum and will drive innovation to reduce operational costs.

    The Data Center Facilities (Analyst) will work with Engineering and REFCO to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, Operations Mission Critical Facilities, which includes stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, 3 phase electrical systems that include but not limited to switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, wet cell batteries and associated systems, CRAC units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers/water chemical system, air handlers and associated systems, pumps, & motors.

    The Data Center Facilities (Analyst) will perform space and network planning analysis with IT Systems Engineering project managers as needed. Candidates must be able to independently plan power utilization of servers within individual racks and the data center environment as a whole within the context of the project scopes identified by the project managers. Candidate will be expected to be able to independently manage their performance of the majority of these requirements.

    Education and Experience

    • 4+ Years of experience working in Data Centers doing hands on implementations
    • 4 – 7 years relevant IT experience
    • Strong knowledge of IT systems infrastructure (e.g. Cooling, electrical and emergency systems) and consolidation strategies
    • PC and desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, e-mail, etc.)
    • 4-year degree in associated field of experience including but not limited to Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is preferred
    • Previous Healthcare Data Center Experience preferred
    • Data Center monitoring tools experience preferred
