The Theater Magdeburg is looking for a Director's Assistant (m/f/d) with a commitment to evening performance management in the field of music theater, starting on May 1st, 2023.

The desired qualifications are:

Education in the fields of music, musicology, theater studies, etc.
First experiences through relevant directorial assistance (music theater) and/or internships
Enjoyment in participating in the process of creating productions in music theater
Comprehensive knowledge in the field of music theater
The ability to adapt to the wishes of the directing team and successfully implement them in line with the interests and possibilities of the theater
Very good German and English skills; knowledge of Italian and other languages is advantageous

Furthermore, we are looking for a person with a high level of resilience, commitment, and teamwork. Good communication skills, empathy, and organizational skills are essential for this profession. Flexibility and willingness to work according to theater standards are mandatory.
