Summary:
This position is responsible for successful warehouse operations and companywide safety. Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a clean organized manner at all times. This creates value to
our customers and to
our business. The Facility Manager / Safety Officer will report directly to the Vice President of Commercial Division.

Key Result Areas

  • Be on time and ready to start work at the designated start time
  • Maintain a safe, clean driving record
  • Maintain minimum Osha 10 Certification
  • Create repair log on all equipment and tool repairs, following up on return of items
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe courteous manner
  • Ensure company vehicle clean inside and out
  • Coordinate delivery of jobsite tools and material per scheduled times when needed
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are checked in and out of current tool tracking platform
  • Ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed
  • Coordinate and maintain all RGA materials
  • Constantly organize returned material to correct locations
  • Organize and inventory of all consumable items maintaining a set level on hand (i.e. Nuts, bolts, screws, wire coil packs etc.)
  • Maintain usable levels of consumable hardware
  • Receive and inventory of all incoming deliveries
  • Notify correct project managers of received deliveries
  • Label all deliveries with project PO# and job name then store in a manner to quickly identify
  • Empty all trash cans and remove all trash at the end of each day or when needed
  • Keep all outgoing materials labeled and well organized
  • Have PPE with you at all times and on when delivering materials to jobsites
  • Ensure company vehicle is filled with fuel at all times
  • Clean up and repair tools and equipment returned to the shop, making ready to be sent back out
  • Notify COO of any damaged tools or materials
  • Train new warehouse assistants on safe equipment operations
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. i.e Keeping gates and doors secure
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
  • Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Maintain warehouse results to safe use of equipment, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
  • Keep on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
  • Assess risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
  • Inspect production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe
  • Order repairs for unsafe and or damaged equipment
  • Focus on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training
  • Participate in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques
  • Share information, suggestions, and observations with leadership to create consistence in safety standards throughout the entire company
  • Find the best way to prevent future accidents
  • Support the development of OSHA policies and programs
  • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues of nonconformity (not using protective equipment)
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to management
