The Position
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the position will operate, troubleshoot and maintain food manufacturing equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Operation, troubleshooting and maintaining food manufacturing packaging machinery
Adhering to all active maintenance facility standards that support proper design and operational functions of the plant and equipment.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work area at all times.
Performing other duties, as needed.

This position requires:

Working knowledge of mechanical repair and general maintenance.
Performing maintenance and ensuring the reliability of machinery and systems required for production by inspecting and testing machinery; completing preventive maintenance, i.e., lubrication, bearing replacement, and inspections.
Knowledge of tools (including power tools) to execute job requirements.
Accurately recording and documenting all completed maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
Suggesting changes, which would help the plant achieve improved efficiency, quality, and safety.
Analytical ability for troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Excellent upper and lower body strength.
Ability to lift 2550 lbs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in described skills during a handson interview.

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
