_ The work schedule for this position is flexible and will include working evenings._
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administers and proctors computerbased and paperbased academic placement, and certification exams according to local, state, and national procedures, standards and policies. Facilitates students with assessment and testing processes
- Provides support to students and/or faculty regarding policies, procedures, and processes pertaining to multiple functional areas of testing and placement processes
- Navigates students through the Testing and Placement platforms, including MyPima, and the Pima website
- Conduct student transactions, maintain and update student and department records utilizing the College, state, and national information systems
- Communicate with students, faculty, College staff and the general public about Testing and Placement services. Resolves student service complaints and concerns and responds to a variety of general inquiries and requests
- Interpret complex information, make evaluative determinations and recommendations regarding services, programs, and procedures to students, staff, faculty and the general public
- Assist in staff training as needed
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to One (1) year of related experience
- Current and Valid AZ Driver's License
Preferred:
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and practices
- Knowledge of internal and external customer service principles and practices. Skill in effective communication (both written and oral)
- Skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature. Skill in positive, productive and flexible customer service
- Skill in analyzing data and drawing conclusions
- Ability to develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships
- Ability to operate relevant equipment required to complete assigned responsibilities for the position

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with staff contact and frequent interruptions

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an standard office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate (up to 20 pounds) amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information
