The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research center in Germany. With over 3,000 employees, we conduct an extensive scientific program in the field of cancer research.

Are you interested in a responsible and varied position (partially remote upon request) in an international environment? Then join the Human Resources department of the German Cancer Research Center as a Human Resources Officer (m/f/d) (reference number ) at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:
After an introductory phase, you will take on a wide range of modern digital personnel tasks (e.g. digital personnel files, employee portal) for several departments within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include processing new hires and departures, preparing contracts, references and certificates, independently advising and supporting department heads and employees on personnel and labor law issues, communicating with authorities and health insurance companies, and handling payroll.

We also look forward to your creative input in projects to develop concepts and establish process optimizations in the HR department.

Your profile:

Following your business administration bachelor's degree with a focus on human resources, you have already gained solid professional experience as a human resources officer.

You have proven your skills specifically in personnel management. You have excellent German and English language skills and are proficient in modern IT. Ideally, you are already familiar with the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector. Your high social competence, service orientation, negotiation skills, and independent and responsible work style set you apart.
