- Facility Cleaning.
- Trash and Recycling.
- Removal, Sweep and Mop all floor surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize all restroom and locker room surfaces.
- Dust, shine, and polish tables, walls, etc.
- Wash all interior windows and glass doors.
- Movement of boxes, furniture, and minor lifting.
- 5 years prior cleaning experience preferred. Task oriented and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work under high supervision, but also able to work independently (as much of time will be spent during off hours)
- Able to work late evenings.
- Able to lift large garbage bags and move light furniture.
- Strong Communication skills Must be legal to work and pass extensive criminal background check.

Description
The Evening Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of designated areas throughout our lower Manhattan Community Center. This is a part-time position and requires a person capable of working comfortably as part of a two-person janitorial team and in tandem with an evening supervisor as well as working responsibly on their own. He/she must be able to work conscientiously, be self-motivated, and be able to schedule and complete numerous tasks with minimum oversight.Schedule is: (2) days a week, Monday and Friday, potential for additional days (as needed)
