- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based care practices.
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality mental health care to clients, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.
- Prescribe medications and/or psychotherapeutic treatments for a range of mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow mental health professionals, family members, and primary care providers to devise comprehensive treatment strategies and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain meticulous electronic medical records to accurately document all professional services provided.
- Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant from a recognized certifying body
- Specialization or experience in psychiatry or mental health
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic interventions
- Proficiency in prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
- Must have fluency in documenting into an electronic medical record
- Excellent communication skills

Our mission includes serving underserved populations such as Veterans and Native Americans through tailored telepsychiatry services and specialized training programs for future psychiatrists. Position: Physician Assistant
Job Summary:
As a Physician Assistant at Frontier Psychiatry, you will play a pivotal role in providing outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to work either remotely or on-site, collaborating closely with a dedicated Medical Assistant to ensure seamless client care coordination.
