Our company is currently seeking a
Professional Household Goods Mover to join our San Antonio office.


Essential Functions and Duties (may include but not limited to the following):

• Go out on moves, including commercial and residential
• Wrap furniture with blankets to prevent damage
• Pack customers' items onsite at their place of residence taking special care to wrap dishes and fragile items in packing paper
• Lift and carry goods between residence and truck
• Deliver shipments on customers' premises
• Assemble and disassemble various types of furniture and other items
• Capture information on bill of lading
• Compute charges
• Pad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment
• Complete household goods inventory
• Assists in cleaning truck, tools, and equipment
• Pick up empty containers, packing materials
• Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers
• Pretrip inspections alongside drivers of all aspects of equipment including truck interior, straps and tensioners, walkboards, etc.
• Perform work at warehouse as needed to help maintain organization

Requirements:

• On time
• Able to carry and lift more than 50 pounds for extended periods of time
• Able to stay on feet for lengthy periods of time including climbing up and down ramps, walk boards, etc.
• Available to work overtime, if necessary
• Neat, professional, and wellgroomed appearance
• Willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law and regulations
• Authorized to work in the United States

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
