Your Role


As a Dental Sterilization Technician/Dental Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to organize and maintain dental instruments and supplies in accordance with strict sterilization and disinfection protocols.

Your meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety standards will contribute to the efficient flow of the office and the well-being of our patients.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist in chairside dental procedures under the guidance of our experienced Lead Dental Assistant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and arrange instruments, procedure bins, medications, and required materials for dental procedures
  • Collect, sort, and decontaminate used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Meticulously examine supplies to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization
  • Sterilize, prepare, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies
  • Control inventory, reorder supplies, and check expiration dates
  • Efficiently break down, clean, and set up operatories to assist patient flow
  • Participate in inservice training, department meetings, and clinics
  • Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments
  • Prepare patients for dental services and provide posttreatment instructions
  • Use fourhanded/sixhanded assisting techniques as required

You'll Offer

  • Previous experience in dental sterilization and assisting (preferred)
