Job summary
We are building a next-generation video editing team focused on speed, innovation, and technical experimentation. This role is for editors who don't just execute workflows — they rethink them.This is not a traditional editing role. It is 75% production editing, 25% R&D, and 100% forward-looking.
Responsibilities
* Edit high volumes of short-form and long-form video with exceptional speed and quality* Create mobile-first, platform-native content (TikTok, Shorts, Reels etc.) alongside traditional formats* Pull raw footage directly from internal servers and optimize workflows around large media files* Experiment aggressively with:* AI-powered editing toolsAutomation scripting templatesLLMs prompt-based workflows machine-learning-assisted editingBuild test document new editing systems that improve:VelocityQualityScalabilityCost efficiencyPresent new tools techniques workshops to the broader editin organizationHelp set new norms for how eding done company-wideAbsorb significant volume of edits currently handled externally helping convert variable costs into high-performance internal teamTravel occasionally toIndustry eventsLocal meetupsTechnology conferencesInnovation-focused gatheringsWhat You'll Do
